Dave Olson

Senior Vice President of Business Development

Dave focuses on delivering innovative dental solutions that serve the quadruple aim of better quality, lower costs, better member experiences and better provider experiences. With more than 10 years experience in management consulting for the health care payor market, he leads business development, Medicare Advantage and national accounts for DentaQuest.
 
In this role, he provides executive leadership and direction for all business development, including the strategic direction for sales and organizational growth. Dave is a member of the senior leadership team and manages a broad team that covers all sales activities, new market entry, Medicare Advantage, and multi-state accounts. Together, the teams work across the organization to ensure DentaQuest is driving market-leading solutions and evolving its product suite and value proposition to meet the industry’s future needs. For Medicare Advantage specifically, Dave covers organizational design, client identification, pursuit and retention, client servicing, market-leading product development, a matrixed operational solution, and ultimately the financial performance of the line of business.
 
Prior to DentaQuest, Dave served in a variety of leadership roles for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City, where he created and led vertically integrated care delivery and insurance offerings, along with creating, implementing, and leading a Medicare Advantage plan.
 
Dave is an alum of the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business.
