Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

DentaQuest recognizes the central role that business plays in society, and the role that oral health plays in overall health, economic opportunity, and quality of life.  We use our donations and sponsorships, volunteerism, and advocacy to strengthen communities, to promote economic justice and to foster inclusion.
 

Board Commitment

The DentaQuest Board of Directors is a diverse and inclusive group of leaders focused on improving the oral health of all. The Board is committed to advancing diversity and inclusion within the Board itself and across the enterprise. In 2020 the Board approved a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) plan to foster inclusion, collaboration and camaraderie to drive innovation, spur growth and create a great work environment. Their commitment is deeply rooted in the mission of the enterprise - “of all.” The strength of our commitment is also in the numbers: 71% of the Board is comprised of women and 29% are ethnically diverse people of color.

Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index 

DentaQuest has been recognized for our commitment to LGBTQ+ workplace equality with a score of 95 out of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2022 Corporate Equality Index (HRC CEI). DentaQuest met the full criteria in the areas of non-discrimination policies, supporting an inclusive culture and corporate social responsibility. We work to enable an inclusive workplace through education, events, and resources on LGBTQ+ issues and topics.
